Erosion is a photography series about what weather does to material over time: stone worn down, wood bleached pale, moss taking hold on a wall that is coming apart. I shot it in Norway in late autumn.
The images are a source rather than an argument. Buildings are usually made to hold still and resist change, and I keep being pulled towards what happens if you let them move with it instead. This series is where that interest started, and it fed into the Arctic Symphony work later.
