Architecture, visualisation,
models and software

Scroll

I am an architect working between Norway and São Paulo, mostly online, with clients in Norway, Sweden, Portugal, the United States and Brazil. The work runs from planning applications and competition proposals to visualisation, physical models and the software I build for the building industry. Most projects still start with a physical model on the desk.

Services

Design from site analysis and concept through to planning, detailing and construction follow-up, at scales from a single room to a masterplan. Recent examples are the SESC Mogi das Cruzes competition proposal in Brazil and the Arctic Symphony graduation project in Alta.

Revit-based modelling, coordination and information management, with parametric workflows in Rhino and Grasshopper where geometry is better driven by rules than drawn by hand. Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper and AutoCAD at an advanced level.

Technical drawing packages, plans, sections, elevations and details, for planning applications, building permits and contractor tendering. Fluent in AutoCAD and Revit.

Exhibition-quality architectural models at any scale, from study maquettes to commissioned pieces. My models for TU Delft were exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023 at Palazzo Mora and at the faculty in Delft.

Aerial photogrammetry surveys producing point clouds and 3D meshes of sites, landscapes and existing buildings. Useful for planning, site recording, contractor briefings and spatial research.

Focused research into material behaviour, tectonic systems and formal strategies. The Arctic Symphony research included a series of sand erosion studies testing how built interventions change sedimentation in a river system.

Preparation and management of planning submissions in Norway, including the supporting documentation and responses to authority queries. Most recently a change-of-use application for a care building for Omsorgsgruppen in Våler.

Circular material flows, passive systems and low-carbon strategies built into a project from the outset. Our Harbour Box proposal, which shared first place in the Upcycle Mall Rotterdam competition, was made from waste materials taken off the Rotterdam docks.

I work mostly online, split between Norway and São Paulo, with clients in Norway, Sweden, Portugal, the United States and Brazil. All services are available remotely through video consultations, shared cloud models and collaborative drawing reviews.
